The BeyHive has major beef with the Grammys over Beyoncé's Album of the Year loss at last night’s ceremony.
Alternative rocker Beck beat out Queen Bey for the honor and now the 33-year-old singer’s fans started a petition urging the Recording Academy to “rightfully give BEYONCÉ the 2015 AOTY Award or Disband.”
It sounds almost too silly to be true, however the demands posted by “The Beygency” are very clear. “An
unspeakable act of corrupt and senseless terrorism was committed at the
57th Annual Grammy Awards when BEYONCÉ—the 5th and most innovative
album from megastar and possible angel Beyoncé—was not given the Album
of the Year Award," the petition reads. “Instead, it was granted to an
album no one even knows the name of by Beck (also not sure who this
is).”
The petition claims “the world would like to see action
taken,” even if that means “stripping Beck of the award and giving it to
Beyoncé,” or maybe the Grammys have to be “obliterated completely.”
In conclusion, the writing reads, “Something must be done after this terrible atrocity.”
The BeyHive will swarm at any potential mistreatment of
their Queen, but fans were a little extra hyped last night because the
“Drink In Love” singer shouted out her fans after she took home the award for Best R&B Performance.
